Overview

This fully-remote, part-time (35 hrs/week) Financial Aid Coordinator role is a great entry-level position for someone looking to join a growing company!  You must be available to work a late night schedule and some weekends.

 

The ideal candidate must have a high level of patience and a willingness to handle and complete one task at a time in order to create precise and consistent work output.

Responsibilities

  • Support outreach efforts to students who have not completed the FAFSA, following established processes and scripts
  • Enter, update, and maintain student financial aid information and FAFSA data accurately in internal systems.
  • Enter, update and maintain records for appointment outcomes daily. 
  • Assist with FAFSA Zoom sessions and workshops, helping ensure students are supported throughout the financial aid process.
  • Send various reports to internal teams
  • Requires attention to detail and working off of various programs and applications to provide accurate data for critical reporting. 
  • Collaborate with various department groups within UTI 

Qualifications

Education / Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • One year of customer service experience.
  • Previous multi-line telephone experience is a plus.

Skills

  • Must have excellent organizational skills and be very detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication skills verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)
