Overview

The Product Owner Senior plays a strategic and leadership role in defining and delivering high-value digital products and enterprise solutions. Acting as the voice of the business and customer, they are accountable for shaping the product roadmap, prioritizing outcomes, and guiding multiple Agile teams in delivering solutions that drive measurable business impact. With deep domain expertise, strong stakeholder management skills, and a focus on customer value, the Product Owner Senior not only manages product backlogs but also mentors other Product Owners and contributes to the overall product strategy.

 

Pay Range: $110,000 - $126,000

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Managers and business leaders to define product strategy, roadmap, and long-term vision
  • Lead and manage multiple product backlogs across teams, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives
  • Translate complex business needs into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Prioritize initiatives by balancing customer value, business outcomes, technical dependencies, and risk
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration between design, engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders
  • Ensure Agile teams deliver high-quality product increments that meet performance, scalability, and usability standard.
  • Represent the product in stakeholder meetings, steering committees, and executive updates
  • Track and report product KPIs, measure business outcomes, and adapt strategy based on insights
  • Mentor and coach junior Product Owners, Business Analysts, and team members to build product management capability
  • Champion Agile and product management best practices across the organization
  • Establish/maintain a high performance team of professional, motivated and engaged staff utilizing effective training, performance management and career-development activities while leading them to achieve established business results and performance metrics
  • Recognizes and rewards employee contributions and achievements

Qualifications

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (required)
  • Five (5) years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager in an Agile environment (required)
  • Strong background with Intranets
  • Strong background with Sharepoint and Power Platform
  • Strong experience managing Product and Solutions within a product driven organization
  • Experience managing a team and must have previous people management experience in IT or Product
  • Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum frameworks, backlog management, and product delivery (required)
  • Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally) (required)
  • Experience leading digital transformations or large-scale enterprise product initiatives (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles, customer journey mapping, and analytics (preferred)
  • Background in data-driven decision-making and product performance measurement

Skills: 

  • Skilled in managing complex products or multiple backlogs in a large enterprise setting
  • Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum frameworks, backlog management, and product delivery
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and negotiation skills
  • Background of delivering products that create measurable customer and business value

    • Safely ambulate and/or maneuver when on-site at Company locations

  • Ability to influence product strategy at senior leadership levels and across organizational boundaries

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on site at assigned company location. Employees must be able to safely ambulate when on company premises.
  • This position is designated as Remote. Employees must meet minimum technical standards for eligibility and participation.
  • No travel required
