Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, monitors and maintains reporting and analysis solutions for Student Success and operations functions, as well as the communications of results to stakeholders
  • Serve as a primary liaison with business leaders to help understand and improve outcomes and student experience throughout the student lifecycle through reporting analysis
  • Manage the preparation of retention, student population, employment, employer, OEM, and other reporting statistical data reports for functional leaders, campus presidents and senior leadership
  • Manage and perform technical research and analysis, provide recommendations and commentary on complex management issues and transactions
  • Identify opportunities to turn analyses into ongoing reporting and develop prototypes for report automations
  • Monitor KPIs and support strategic decision-making
  • Partner with IT to assess existing data and identify additional data needed to build reporting, manage, and drive performance for both campus and centralized operations
  • Strong business acumen and an ability to build successful, credible relationships with a variety of business leaders is necessary and works effectively with all levels of the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Operations or Data Management, or related field (required)
  • Minimum three (3) years' of experience in Higher Education and/or related area (preferred)
  • Minimum two (2) years' of experience utilizing Business Intelligence Tools, such as PowerBI to develop robust, interactive and visually impactful dashboards (required)
  • Minimum two (2) years' of experience developing optimized, complex SQL queries across large volumes of data in both relational and multi-dimensional data sources (preferred)
  • Broad knowledge of project management and system implementation experience (preferred)

 

  • Intermediate to advanced SQL querying skills
  • Intermediate to with advanced knowledge using analytical tools such as PowerBI
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Overnight and/or Local travel required (up to 5%)
