Overview

As a Financial Aid Processor, you'll be the backbone of our financial aid operations, ensuring students receive timely and accurate support. You will be instrumental in reviewing, verifying, and resolving critical student financial aid documents (ISIRs, C-codes, and Conflicting Information) to ensure full compliance with Title IV regulations. Your detail-oriented approach directly impacts our students' ability to fund their education.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process student financial aid documents, including ISIRs, to identify and resolve issues like C-codes, rejections, and conflicting information.
  • Complete the verification process by meticulously reviewing documents to ensure data accuracy and compliance with Title IV requirements.
  • Evaluate professional judgment (PJ) documentation to ensure adequate support for students' special circumstances and prepare them for committee review.
  • Maintain timely and accurate processing of all verification, C-code, and conflicting information documents.
  • Assist with general financial aid and student experience tasks as needed to support campus operations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED required. Some college coursework preferred.
  • Experience: 1 - 3 years of Financial Aid experience is required.
  • Experience: 1 - 2 years of experience in customer service or sales.
  • Skill: Exceptional detail-oriented and organizational skills.
  • Skill: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skill: Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
