Overview

The Marketing Data Analyst leverages a blend of business insight and technical expertise to uncover trends, optimize performance, and inform strategic decisions that support inquiry acquisition and conversion goals. This role is instrumental in analyzing data across digital, search, email, and engagement campaigns to drive profitable growth and improve marketing ROI. As part of the marketing team, the Analyst works collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure consistent reporting, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate data into actionable insights. This position supports performance metrics and campaign execution across UTI's campuses.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze marketing campaign data to identify trends and audit processes related to revenue, click/conversion rates, ROI, and ad spend
  • Develop and deliver scheduled and ad hoc reporting on new and existing marketing initiatives
  • Improve reporting accuracy and efficiency through automation and query optimization
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to monitor performance metrics, conversions, and ROI
  • Identify gaps and make recommendations to improve acquisition and conversion rates
  • Conduct market and competitive research to support program and product development
  • Provide insights to internal stakeholders and leadership on campaign performance and customer behavior
  • Communicate complex data clearly through presentations, dashboards, and written reports
  • Lead cross-functional research and analysis projects that influence marketing strategy
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to operational leaders and senior executives
  • Manage relationships with external contractors and marketing agencies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (required), in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of (3) years of data analytics experience, preferably in marketing or digital marketing (required)
  • Experience interpreting and integrating data from multiple platforms to drive action (required)
  • Experience with A/B testing, SQL, Excel (advanced), and BI tools (required)

 

  • Demonstrated ability to present strategic recommendations based on data
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong communication skills
  • Expertise in data analytics, visualization, and marketing performance analysis
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel (pivot tables, conditional formatting, advanced formulas)
  • Experience with digital marketing metrics and tools (Google Analytics, AdWords, Looker Studio, Power BI, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain data-driven insights
  • Attention to detail, time management, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to partner across departments and vendors
  • Analytical thinking with a results-oriented approach to problem solving

  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on site at assigned company location. Employees must be able to safely ambulate when on company premises.
  • This position is designated as Remote. Employees must meet minimum technical standards for eligibility and participation.
  • Overnight and/or Local travel required (up to 5%)
