The Enterprise Instructional Designer plays a critical role in shaping impactful learning experiences that support employee growth and leadership development across the organization. This position is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality instructional content aligned to key initiatives such as onboarding, performance management, and leadership development.
Partnering closely with HR and cross-functional stakeholders, the Instructional Designer conducts learning needs assessments, builds engaging curricula using proven instructional design models, and ensures effective delivery through our Learning Management System (LMS). Success in this role requires strong expertise in instructional design, adult learning theory, eLearning development, and LMS administration, as well as a passion for creating meaningful, results-driven learning solutions.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop high-quality instructional content, including eLearning modules, videos, facilitator guides, job aids, and other learning materials for various delivery formats (virtual, in-person, blended).
Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to create learner-centered experiences that drive knowledge retention and performance improvement.
Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to conduct needs assessments, identify performance gaps, and align training initiatives with organizational objectives.
Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of learning programs using feedback, performance data, and analytics; continuously improve and iterate on content based on findings.
Update and maintain training content in response to changes in policies, compliance standards, systems, and business processes.
Leverage authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise) and video editing software to produce engaging multimedia content.
Manage and maintain learning materials within the LMS (e.g., uploading courses, troubleshooting issues, and generating reports).
Support the selection and curation of learning vendors, platforms, and resources as needed.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency.
Stay informed on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously innovate and enhance the learning experience.
Perform other instructional design and learning-related tasks as needed.
Education & Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or related field (preferred)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or corporate training (required)
Certification in instructional design, adult education, or eLearning development (preferred)
Strong working knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning theories, and advanced learning strategies
Skills:
Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone strongly preferred)
Expertise in course authoring software (Articulate strongly preferred) with knowledge of SCORM compliance
Multimedia development skills, including video editing and graphic design
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
Basic graphic design and HTML capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication, with a focus on clarity and learner engagement
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and diverse teams
Outstanding organizational, time management, and project coordination abilities
Proven track record of meeting deadlines without compromising quality
