Responsibilities

  • Guide Success: Monitor student grades and attendance, provide academic advising, and manage paperwork for withdrawals and leaves of absence.
  • Support Systems: Act as a backup for Student Services, partner with the Education Department, and assist with various student and community programs.
  • Enhance Learning: Develop course schedules, address scheduling challenges, and advise students on their options.
  • Champion Resources: Assist with ADA/504 accommodations, Veterans Benefits, and Student VISA processes as needed.
  • Foster Community: Support housing needs, mediate roommate conflicts, and ensure housing status codes are updated.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; 4-year degree in a related field preferred but not required
  • Experience: 2-3 years in the education field preferred but not required
  • Skills: Proficiency in Word and Excel, excellent customer service, communication, and organizational abilities
  • Attributes: Positive attitude, multi-tasker, and willingness to learn
