Overview

Join us as a Logistics Coordinator and be instrumental in optimizing our operational efficiency. You will lead the end-to-end process of managing essential goods for curriculum and R&D across multiple campuses, making a significant impact on our educational mission through effective supplier relationships, procurement, and inventory management.  Must live in or be commutable to Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate leadership by overseeing the complete procurement lifecycle, from supplier negotiation to final delivery, across various campus sites.
  • Manage and document all received tools, training aids, vehicles (TTEV), and non-TTEV purchases, including modification and assembly.
  • Exhibit proactive management and meticulous documentation of surplus and rolling inventory to uphold a meticulously organized warehouse in adherence to 5S principles.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with purchasing, facilities, accounting, and education teams to ensure seamless logistics and resolve issues.
  • Strategically source and negotiate bids, prepare RFQs/RFPs, and issue purchase orders to maximize savings and value.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; BS/BA in Supply Chain Management preferred.

Experience:

  • Require a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, expediting, or a related logistics field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Oracle PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on building supplier relationships.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of independent judgment.
  • Organization: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
