In this role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day administration of our Blackboard Ultra Learning Management System (LMS) and related technologies. You’ll play a critical part in optimizing system performance, supporting users, and driving forward-thinking solutions that enhance teaching, learning, and engagement.
What We Offer:
Administer and optimize Blackboard LMS performance and user roles
Troubleshoot and implement LTI integrations, upgrades, and branding (HTML/CSS)
Provide Tier 2/3 tech support for LMS and learning tools
Collaborate with Instructional Designers and vendors on new tech rollouts
Train and support faculty/staff; maintain process documentation
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s in IT or related field preferred
3+ years' experience as a Blackboard Administrator is required. Blackboard Ultra administration experience is highly preferred.
3–5 years supporting technology in a higher education setting
Strong expertise in Blackboard configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting
Working knowledge of SQL, HTML/CSS, and Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with networking concepts, streaming video platforms, and educational tech tools
