Responsibilities

  • Guide students through the financial aid process from start to finish with clear, compassionate support.

  • Ensure all paperwork is submitted accurately and on time, in full compliance with regulations.

  • Educate students on financial aid options including FAFSA, loans, and scholarships.

  • Identify and help resolve barriers that could impact a student’s ability to start or stay in school.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve student outcomes like retention and satisfaction.

  • Manage a student caseload, providing timely follow-ups and personalized financial aid strategies.

Qualifications

Education / Experience

  • High School diploma or GED required. Some college courses preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in customer service or sales
  • 2 years Financial Aid experience preferred

  • Professional communication Skills (verbal and written)
  • Multi-Tasking and Time Management Skills; can adapt to a changing fast-paced environment
