Overview

This position is accountable for planning, coordinating, and delivering student admission events that contribute to enrollment and organizational goals. Additionally, this position partners with stakeholders to promote events that are within budget and executed within pre-determined timelines. There is a high level of engagement and interaction with students and families that requires significant relationship building.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and partner with cross functional teams to independently produce events with minimal supervision from concept to completion
    • Utilize technology resources to develop and deliver event
  • Schedule, plan, and deliver on-campus admissions events within established budgets, driving toward pre-defined goals and outcomes
    • Create annual and periodic event schedules
    • Produce, analyze, and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports
    • Coordinate meetings, collateral, event space, etc.
    • Partner with marketing stakeholders
  • Provide campus tours to students and families on an as needed basis
  • Foster and maintain a safe working environment by executing safety plans, procedures, and policies
    • Partner with campus and regional resources to produce safe and accessible events
    • Assist with safety enforcement during events
  • Establish/maintain a high-performance team of professional, motivated, and engaged staff utilizing effective training, performance management and career-development activities while leading them to achieve established business results and performance metrics.
    • Recognize and reward employee contributions and achievements
    • Provide oversight and supervision to assigned employees
    • Enforce accountability for timecard completion and accuracy
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education / Experience

  • High School degree or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience (hospitality, sales event coordination, etc.) required; Experience in a lead or supervisory role (highly preferred)
  • Specific experience in education (or other highly regulated field) and multi-site environments (highly preferred)

Skills

  • Present ideas in a clear and compelling manner, both verbally and in written format
  • Exceptional listening and conflict resolution skills
  • Intermediate level presentation skills
  • Drive, and be accountable for, results in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate level proficiency with productivity software (MS Office), and other enterprise-level software (Adobe DC, SharePoint, etc.)

  • Able and willing to:

  • Use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to process transactions, store documents, enter data, or perform assigned tasks
  • Safely ambulate and/or maneuver when on-site UTI and external locations
  • Demonstrate and utilize active listening, inductive reasoning, information ordering and category flexibility
  • Participate in, and coordinate, event set-up
  • Occasionally lift and maneuver up to 35 pounds
  • Perform repetitive tasks throughout entirety of workday (speaking, writing, typing/data entry, etc.)
  • Set-up / take down event collateral

Work Environment

  • Work is performed on-campus and may be indoor or outdoor based on student need.
