Position Overview:


As an Academic and Career Advisor at Universal Technical Institute, you’ll embark on a journey to empower students from day one through graduation and beyond!  Your bilingual skills in Spanish and English will be invaluable in providing comprehensive support to a diverse student body, ensuring their academic success and career readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate new student orientation and registration to ensure a smooth transition into academic life.
  • Foster a vibrant campus community through engaging student activities and events.
  • Support students in their job search by organizing career fairs and resume workshops.
  • Monitor student progress and provide academic and career advising as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with educational standards and support various student services functions.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2-3 years in education or related field preferred.
  • Certifications: Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to advise and guide adult learners.
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication.
    • A passion for student success.
