Overview

This position is responsible for accurate and timely calculations of program change and re-enrolls requests at the campus. These complex calculations must be completed in accordance with internal policies and procedures. In addition, this team member is responsible for generating enrollment agreements to assist students in completing changes in their program or re-enrolling at UTI. Finally, this role may be asked to provide general student support throughout both the re-enroll and program change process to ensure students move through the process in a timely manner. Finally, this position may be called upon to provide calculation and enrollment agreement support to locations beyond their home campus if the business need requires it.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and timely calculations for program changes and re-enrolls in accordance with UTI policies and procedures.
  • Prepare accurate enrollment agreements for students that request a program change or that request to re-enroll at UTI.
  • Educate students on the tuition breakdown for the change that they have requested as directed by the Financial Aid Director or Supervisor.
  • Maintain tracking for program changes and re-enrolls as directed by the Financial Aid Director or Supervisor.
  • Assist the campus by ensuring timely follow-through in all departments and the student in the program change and re-enroll process as directed.
  • Ensure students receive excellent customer service in all interactions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education / Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2 to 4 yrs. administrative experience preferred
  • 2 years customer service experience preferred

 

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to organize and provide clerical functions such as typing, filing, etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment where deadlines are essential
  • High level of interaction with students, graduates, employers, and some outside suppliers
  • Ability to use good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to provide flexible and adaptable work schedules
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional decorum
  • Strong planning and organizational skills

 

Abilities

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds or less 5% of the workday
  • Must be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% or less of the workday
  • Must be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, learn and reason for all of the workday
  • Must be able to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods throughout the workday.

 

Work Environment

  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
