Overview

Location:  On-site at our Exton, PA campus (no remote option)

Position:  Financial Aid Advisor

Hours:  Monday - Friday, with the occasional Saturday as needed

Pay Range: $19 - $22/hr + full benefits  

 

Are you passionate about helping students navigate their financial future and making a real impact on their educational journey? We are seeking a Financial Aid Advisor for our Exton, PA campus — a key, student-facing role within our Financial Aid department.
 
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, compassionate, fast learners, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

 

Recent college graduates with strong learning agility and candidates from customer service, hospitality, financial services and retail/restaurant leadership are encouraged to apply. No prior financial aid experience required — full paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the Way: Support students through every step of the financial aid process, ensuring they have everything they need to succeed. 

  • Deliver Excellence: Provide exceptional service with compassion, clarity, and efficiency, helping students overcome any financial hurdles 

  • Solve Problems: Identify and address barriers to starting or continuing school with creative and effective solutions.  

  • Educate and Empower: Explain federal aid, FAFSA, scholarships, and more to help students make informed financial decisions. 

  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with Admissions, Student Services, and other teams to enhance student satisfaction and success. 

Qualifications

Experience / Education

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred 

  • Experience: at least 2 years customer service; at least 1 year in Financial Aid ideal

  • Title IV programs: some knowledge preferred

 

Skills:  

  • Strong customer service and communication skills (phone-based role)
  • Ability to de-escalate challenging conversations with professionalism
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational habits
  • Comfort discussing finances and sensitive personal information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint
